This policy applies to ai-marketing-tool.com and any subdomain of it. It describes what we collect, why, and the control you have — written to be readable rather than to hide behind legalese.
1. Overview
AI Marketing OS ("we", "us", "our") operates https://ai-marketing-tool.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit the Site, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.
We keep data collection to the minimum required to run a content site: aggregate analytics, ad delivery, and email you voluntarily give us. We do not sell your personal information.
2. Information We Collect
We collect three categories of information:
- Information you give us. If you email us or submit a tool for review, we receive your email address and whatever you write in the message. If you subscribe to a newsletter, we store the email address you provide.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our servers and analytics providers log your IP address (in truncated/anonymised form where supported), browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring URL, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit.
- Information from cookies and similar technologies. Small text files and pixels placed on your device that recognise your browser on return visits. See Section 4.
3. How We Use Information
We do not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you, and we do not build advertising profiles ourselves — any personalised advertising is delivered by third-party ad networks described below.
- To operate, maintain, and secure the Site and diagnose technical problems
- To understand in aggregate which pages and topics are useful, so we can improve our reviews and guides
- To display advertising and measure its performance (see Section 4)
- To respond to your emails, tool submissions, and correction requests
- To send newsletter emails — only if you subscribed, and every email includes an unsubscribe link
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use
5. Affiliate Links
Some outbound links to software vendors are affiliate links. If you click one and later purchase a subscription, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate links are marked with rel="sponsored" where technically possible so that search engines and users can identify them.
7. Your Privacy Rights
EEA, UK, and Switzerland (GDPR). You have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw cookie consent at any time. Our legal bases are consent (advertising and marketing cookies, newsletter), legitimate interests (site security, aggregate analytics, responding to your enquiries), and legal obligation.
California (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information as commonly understood; to the extent that advertising cookies constitute "sharing" under the CPRA, you can opt out through the consent controls described in Section 4 or by emailing us.
To exercise any right, email us at the address in Section 11. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (normally 30 days). You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. Data Retention, Security, and International Transfers
We retain server logs and aggregate analytics for a limited period (generally up to 14 months) and newsletter subscription data until you unsubscribe. Email correspondence is kept as long as needed to handle your request and for our records.
We use HTTPS across the Site, restrict access to any stored data, and rely on reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our infrastructure providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where personal data leaves the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses offered by our providers.
9. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for marketing professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version, and material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
